This video shows some giant tortes from Galapagos Island, which is part of Ecuador. These giant tortes can live up to 150 years and can weigh over 500 lb. The giant tortes is one of the most important animal in the history of Ecuador; there are also many other spices on the island. The tortes have very powerful jaws and a very strong shell to protect them from predator. The giant tortes can spend over 20 years searching for their perfect match to mate; for this reason there are so few of them and are in danger of extinction. These prehistoric giant animals are amazing and we need to protect them.

Last year, it was my first time skiing and I was very excited. I went with a group of international student because they had this tour for ski. We had to wear warm clothes since it was a cold temperature. When we got to the place it had a huge mountain of snow and ready to ski. We had to change the shoes and chose the right size the ski, also; we have to take some classes before to climb the mountain with the ski. In this picture, we were practice how to control the ski and stopped that we couldn’t hurt another people or us. To tell the true it was very difficult to control very well the ski it took me a little of the time and also some fell in the snow and it is “hurt”. In the end of the day I was very tired and I happy at the same time because I ski all the day with my friends.

my friends

In this picture, we were in the park with my friends which are Marisol, Ali, Dulce, Daniela, Me, Francisco, Ricardo, and Jose. In the park, the LSU group did a big picnic to celebrate the end of semester and said good bye to Ricardo because he would return to Panama in May. We played a lot of sport; for example: soccer, tennis, football, baseball, and volleyball to have fun during the picnic. And you knew something that they realized that they were hungry for playing all day; also they didn’t cook the meat in the grill. But they were more interesting playing than helping with the barbecue. The only person who wants to help was Ricardo and he was the chief of the barbecue. Not all the group helped to cook but another tried to see what they can do. The food was excellent, the company of my friends too, and we said good tripe to Ricardo and all friends said good bye and see you next semester.
